Back in business.
Well yesterday with no account bet and only speculative bets put up no damage done a 3/1 early 4/1 sp Nero west small profit/ no loss whichever of the 2 prices you ended up with.
Hildegarde in the maiden showed the way towards the higher priced runners, maidens in my mind can easily start in real terms at the 10/1 plus shots so a bit of dutching for some in these races could be an angle for some of you.
Back to the lay bets we have 2 bets today and a couple of bets if you fancy them.
Account lay bets:
3.40 Market rasen Muntami (6.6) betfair 0.6% of the bank.
8.50 Newcastle Paris bell (6) betfair. 0.6% of the bank.
Bets:
7.35 Pathos 3/1 mark.
8.40 Jack of trumps 11/2 mark plus.
Good luck today the weekend is nearly here and the week is nearly over so be lucky and if any one has any comments re the blog please post them.

And you thought it couldn't get any harder!
Well yesterday was a good day for the lay bets 3 winning/losing selections the race of the day gave another lay bet won/lost but the bets not so good but too be honest there was profit too be made so i hope you did.
Today as with yesterday looks fraught, the training centres in the racing post 30 reccomendations, the racing post ratings and trading post between them all gave 2 winners 1@ 9/2 winner the other 5/1 so all in all 36 tips 2 winners.
It doesn't get any easier today the account lay bets has a no bet day today and the bets section is highly speculative.
Value bets:
2.30 Newcastle Hildegarde 14/1 mark
3.10 Yarmouth Boundless prospect 7/1 mark.
Favourites chance:
4.00 Nero west
4.50 Sharmy
Both around the 3/1 to 5/1 mark.
Good luck in finding winners or losers today but the above may help?

Pinstickers day
Pinstickers day Well yesterday the lay bet successful L'art du silence the bets section gave a 12/1 2nd the others not so good.Today with the ground good to soft and Heavy at Newbury with large field maidens and the Brighton card never inspiring to me be very careful today small stakes for your bets today? With this said there are bets but speculative at prices for each way and a dinosaur bet quite rare at an each way price.
Lay account bet:7.35 Newbury Lush (2.58) betfair at 1% of the bank.
Dinosaur bets:6.30 Newbury Kylkenny 9/2 mark.
Favourites chance:4.00 Brighton Tibouchina 100/30.
Outsiders bets:7.05 Newbury Bikini 16/1 mark Betfred.
8.40 Newbury La roca. 12/1 Ladbrokes.
Be lucky today i think everyone will need it.I hope you had a look at the 2 races i advised re the front 5 in the racing post forecast in the 2.00 Musselburgh tillys dream won 9/2 Favourite.7.40 Windsor Kelamon won 7/2 joint 5th favourite.
I know this seems an easy statement to make but both races gave you the opportunity to concentrate your activities and target your own fancies so hope it helped ,none today but when they come up i'll keep you informed.

Another dreary monday morning.
Well yesterday gave us one bet which duly obliged in Balakrief so a loser/winner.
The weekend was frustrating but the 3 sytems i have been running succesfully seem to be imploding on each other so the one i developed myself will be the only one used for selections from now on cue winners not losers but selectivity will be now more the name of the game.
This may mean less bets but may guide us forward to long term profitability.
Thank you Maz for your comments re your dutching activities good luck with them and i hope my lay bets may be of assistance to every one with their own selection methods but please remember the comment i made the other day re the first 5 in the racing post forecast giving you a very solid start point for your own activities.
Today looks very tough but there is some activity on both fronts the lay and the bets, please remember the bets section is not the main stay of what i'm looking to achieve here but if you fancy them have a go.
Account lay bets:
7.10 Windsor L'art du silence (5.5) 0.6% of the bank.
Bets section:
2.00 Rothesay dancer 10/1 mark.
3.00 Cotton eyed joe
3.30 Tough love
9.10 Shine lik a star 8/1 mark.
2 Races too take a close look at in the front 5 in the betting for the winner are 7.40 Windsor and the 2.00 at Musselburgh have a look and see what you think.
Enjoy that first day of the week just like myself and good luck.

A quiet day
Well yesterday was another frustrating day for the lay bets 2 non runners, 2 only winning /losing for us by yet again a short head and a neck what can i say!? All the other lay bets were successful but a loss on the day.
Yet to try and assist i had a look back and tried to find something to take out of this weeks frustration and only one thing i can put your way is for those that wish to dutch horses or have a straight bet to win just concentrate on the first five prices!!!!in the racing post. In the races that i put up for lay bets the % of winners in the first five prices is very high probably nearer 90% but the prices of winners within this area can be as high as 20/1 so have a go at crossing the others out and reduce the given races giving you an area to concentrate your betting activities on.
Only 1 bet today information not available through the internet as yet so the only bet i can put your way is below.
Account lay bet :
3.00 Warwick Balakrief (5) betfair 0.6% of the bank.
Enjoy the remainder of the weekend and good luck today.

Just a quickie
Hunting around for a bit more value had a look at the 5.30 Royal ascot one stood out a bit if the rain comes a bit of value could be had with:
Leopoldine 50/1 Corals ,25/1 Victor chandlers 33/1 available and 40/1 so a place would be around the 8/1 mark see what you reckon it may be worth an each way punt Group 3 placed in a good time and ground may come right with a blooming excellent jockey up in Steve drowne for the first time this season have a go if you fancy it????

All i want for christmas is my horse to have a bigger head!
Well yesterday all the lay bets successful but not so the bets section 2 short heads 2nd placed yesterday but i put the bets up as an extra to what i am trying to achieve with the laying side for those that may be interested i hate to lose but i am always looking for an edge for everyone so the bets will keep coming as an addition to the lay selections and you can have a go if you wish.
Down to business.
Account lays:
5.20 Ayr Motafarred (4.8) betfair 0.6% of the bank.
6.35 Newmarket Rio de la plata 1% of the bank.
8.50 Musselburgh Strabinios king (10) betfair 0.4% of the bank.
Coronation stakes 3.45 Royal Ascot:
There are 3 horses that take out 73% plus of the Corals book, i hope every one knows and understands overounds ie bookies profits, a lot of the races you may have seen at ascot have been like this but i'll put up some info re this race and see what you think it would be nice to get a bit of feedback so i know that people either agree /dissagree with things or just want to express a view.
Finsceal Beo 5/2 (28.571%) of the book or 28.571 pence in the pound.
Darjina 5/2 (28.571%) of the book or 28.571 in the pound.
Hi emma 5/1 (16.666%) of the book or 16.666 in the pound.
The overround for the race is 123%, therefore by backing the 3 above you could guarantee obviously if they win a profit in the region of 25% plus return on your investment because there isn't a real term 100% plus figure anywhere apart from the Bookies book.
So to finish you could put 29p/ 29p and 17p on the three horses and make a profit whichever of these wins (all theoretical) but facts are correct with the % figures so watch today and if anyone is interested have your say and post a comment.
Value bets:
4.55 Consulate 7/1
4.20 Emirates skyline 4/1
7.40 Keidos7/1
8.10 Bakhoor (in foal) 4/1
5.30 Malcheek 40/1

Well good morning everyone ,first of all no i'm not changing the content of the blog we're still talking horse racing but more will be revealed.

Good morning everybody i have put up an early blog today to try and capture some of the early prices about .
There will be another to follow but i know everybody will be keyed up for the day so i'll speak later about any potential lay bets and give you the Royal Ascot bets so you may grab some each way value yes even 7/2 just scrapes into the realms for me no more waffle ,down to business.
Royal Ascot bets:
St James's Palace Stakes 3.45 Astronomer royal 10/1+ available everywhere bar Corals 15/2.
Windsor Castle Stakes 5.30 Achilles of troy 7/2 Victor chandlers down to 5/2 Ladbrokes! and Corals.

And you thought it couldn't get any harder!
Well lets just say today's racing doesn't exactly get me jumping out of my chair with excitement but this is generally the case when you are running up to a big meeting the quality is obviously being held up for the Royal Ascot meeting next week.
Yesterday the high risk lays all won/lost the bets section gave Summer dancer as a 3/1 winner and Set the scene well, it just obviously didn't but a profit for the day even if you just took the early prices on Summer dancer even though a small one.
I know that we all want to bank a fortune from our racing activities as quickly as we can but PROFIT is allways the point so we must accept the good with the bad that's racing.
Account lay bets:
9.15 Chepstow Fealeview lady (4.6) betfair. 0.6% of the bank.
Bets for the day:
8.10 Olimpo Chepstow 11/4 available.
9.15 Neon Blue 4/1 available.
Good luck today and with the weekend nearly upon us i'm sure the opportunities will return in greater numbers tomorrow and we'll have a go then but for today good luck!

A quiet day
Well a little bit of digging and some luck helped us out yesterday the lay bets account/non account produced 6 winning/losing selections so a good day there.
The bets section 1 favourite Gigs magic in the 9.40 with the lay bet was a good result, the 2nd Magic echo 6/1 and the lay bet on Furbeseta was another good result so i hope you made some cash yesterday the Forecast bet great apart form the selections came 2nd/3rd but i'll continue to put these bets up if they are highlighted as opportunities and at the 10/1 mark if they come in will hopefully long term give a profit.
A very quiet day with changeable ground a near definite throughout the country and the 2 lay bets that were to be put up were not given due to restrictions i have now put on the lay bets and the uncertainty of the going.
We still have opportunities today though and they are as follows.
High risk lays:
3.35 Double valentine lingfield
3.50Ransom captive Newbury
5.35 Dancewitthestars Yarmouth
Favourites chance:
4.55 Summer dancer Newbury 3/1 available
Value bets:
3.50 Set the scene Newbury 16/1 available.
Good luck today it looks tough but the bets are there so be lucky.

Higher ground from Promises and lies??
Well although todays headline is cryptic bear with me and read the following lyrics from the above song on the above album from UB40.
Every hour of every day I'm learning more
The more i learn, the less I know about before
The less i know, the more i want to look around
Digging deep for clues on higher ground.
This applies to my horse racing exploits and i'm sure everbody else's efforts in our elusive search for the profit we seek to make from our daily racing activities/investments.
I have been working with systems all the way through the dark and dreary winter month's and have been pretty successful to say the least but believe me i'm not blowing my own trumpet because as we can all see and know racing itself is a great leveller as proven yesterday and over the last week with the losing advices i have put your way.
I am not apologising for anything i put on the blog but looking to be 100% honest with every reader of what i write.
If any of you who subscribe to what really wins money will know from the last issue is that things are changing and Clive keeling has given many valid areas for us all to look at and mull over but the biggest realisation is the differences we are all about to go through know that the flat will start (in my opinion only) in earnest with the commencement of Royal Ascot next week.
This can only mean one thing i must and will be trying a lot harder to validate my advices not only to you but to myself, believe me i am backing these advices aswell.
I am not a glossy brochure man i will tell it straight and not gloss things up but without running along to negative a slant the changes will hopefully give us more betting advices which have not gone too bad this week touch wood ! and we can make money in the opposite direction as we currently stand.
As the words of the above song go i will be digging deep for clues on higher ground and give it my best shot to find us ways to make a profit over the coming months.

Pipedreamer,I'm not but it did cause Aggravation!
Sorry about the intro to many years reading the sun possibly but the statement still holds strength.
Yesterday i do hope you all made a bit of profit even with Pipedreamer raining on the parade the bets section gave Western roots sp 7/1 bigger prices were available early, also Aggravation won at 9/4 also bigger prices available early.
The other non account lay bet Escobar lost/won all the High risk lays did the same so somewhere hope fully everyone should have made some cash.
Again looking at the Corals site more prices for the Greyhound racing than the day's Horse racing there in stands the clue it won't be easy today but we do have bets.

Aggravation well it is Monday!
Well i hope everyone had a nice weekend and made a few pennies from the information over the weekend.
Not to harp on about last week again but there are always positives to be taken from a bad run of luck and from today a few more bets will be put up for you to keep an eye on as the Flat starts to kick in proper with Royal Ascot meeting starting within the next week to 10 days.
The lay bets which there are a couple today will follow with some value bets added and a non account lay bet which have been plodding along and have hopefully made you a few pounds along the last couple of days.
Account lay bets:
3.00 Newton Abbott Johnstons Swallow (3.5) betfair 1% banker bet.
7.45 Pontefract Pipedreamer (4.1) betfair 0.6% of the bank.
Non account lay bet:
2.00 Newton Abbott Escobar

7.35 Cactus king Windsor

Who wants to join the Frankie dettori fan club?
Only joking my week seems to have been slighlty haunted by the man himself but with a short head 2nd on Audience i hope some of you backed the dinosaur bet at an each way price.
The previous 4 bets since the 14th of June have all been winners at 8/1, 4/1, 7/2 and 7/2 respectively:
14/05 La matanza 7/2
20/05 Angus newz 4/1
22/05 Cool sands 7/2
08/06 Seeking the buck 8/1
09/07 Audience 6/1 2nd sh hd.
All the above are sp so the average bet would be returning an average price of the 5/1 mark so i would now say an each way bet is definitely the better options to guarantee a return and have a hunt around on oddschecker for a price on the day to seek out possibly a little bit more value if it's there to be had.
The lay banker bets seem to have suffered the same as the dinosaur bets yesterday unfortunately but they will still be identified when they are available and we'll have to be patient as allways.
I do hope some of the other advice helped yesterday many were successful advices the high risk lays i will 100% agree with everybody out there that yes they carry a big risk but my records and the proofing only on the Saturday meetings will give you the opportunity to view them and record them for yourselves.
Today being a typically trappy day led me towards Nae bother at all as a potential lay bet but was to close to call whether it was to be backed or laid that i would not be willing to put it up as an account bet on the lay front .
The gambled Mickmacmagoole gamble fits the same criteria as Nae bother at all for the horse to win so if you fancy it a general price of 9/2 up to 13/2 it's available ,it may be one to watch for the money in the live market .
Non account Lay bets For personal choice only:
3.10 Bath Our kes
5.10 Bath Saviours spirit
Let's look forward to a better week next week with a few races going our way and as allways the tide will turn back in our favour and have a good Sunday and enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Money Talks
Well we were beaten yesterday by a good old fashioned gamble great when they go your way but for the blog not so good obviously.
The horse in question being Mickmacmagoole unfortunately for the account the £8000 in recorded bets on the Sporting life results showed money coming in for the horse at all prices down to the sp so obviously someone, somewhere knew a lot more than i did but not to be disheartened today is another day.
The day's racing has thrown up a lot of opportunities for us today all the way through to the last race of the day at 9.05 and i will give all the bets shortly.
Today being bookies benefit day i will as of today give all the horses that i have been proofing to Clive keeling at Whatreallywins on a regular basis for the Saturday meetings there will be a lot of information and obviously choices outside of the account bets which will be highlighted as such will be for the individual to make their own choices about but may assist you in your quest to beat our dear old friend the bookie.
I will also be including a new feature which i will be putting up which will be for bets not lays which will be called the Dinosaur bets i can assure you that these are not everyday but are worth a look and a winner yesterday at 8/1 with Seeking the buck at Brighton was not an isolated incident but will be rare for the blog and today as these things go with all said there is a bet at Goodwood which i will list first before the account lay bets.
Dinosaur bet:
5.40 Goodwood Audience Biggest price available 5/1 Corals and others.
Account lay bets:
3.00Windsor Kilimandscharo (3.35) betfair 1% of the bank.
5.40 Goodwood Ebert (5.8) betfair. 0.6% of the bank.
5.45 Windsor Bahamian ballet (4.6) betfair. Banker bet. 1% of the bank.
8.35 Newbury Recalcitrant (7.2) betfair. 0.6% of the bank.
9.05 Newbury Extravagance (5.7) betfair 0.6% of the bank
High risk lay bets:
7.30 Newbury Gaelic princess
4.10 Haydock Zabeel house
2.35 Haydock Winged d'argent
Non account lay bets:
3.35 Windsor Algarade.
5.15 Windsor Azeer
9.05 Newbury Extravagance (another system is used to get account lays and that has also identified this horse as a lay bet.)
12/1 lay bets:
5.25 musselburgh Blue tomato (6.2) betfair.
Let's hope for a better end to the week than the neck win by Truly enchanting on Wednesday and the Gambled on Mickmacmagoole yesterday the only thing guaranteed in this game is losers will be found but i hope all the above will possibly assist in winner finding today.
I would like to draw attention to the links section on this page again for any new visitors to the blog about managing a betting bank and sound money management i do not want to preach but would look to assist to maximise any individuals profit through using the information i post the expert betting advice link is good and is the way i bet and has saved me this week on the aforementioned occassions from bigger losses than otherwise would have occurred if backing to level stakes .
Many of you may have heard of the Maria staking plan and may use it but the links are there to help one and all for reference and checking prices and memory jogs re money management which is as much as i can do to help.
Good luck to every one today and enjoy the weekend.

8.20 Haydock Mickmacmagoole (7) betfair.

Thanks Frankie 7/06/07
Well yesterday although a busy day for us ended up with our dear old friend Frankie dettori raining on our parade.
Firstly i would like to mention again the staking plan link i have put on the blog and highlight how losses were minimised by the said plan by making the horse a .4% bet rather than if backing to level stakes the equivalent of a 1% bet over the longer term this can make a huge difference to making a profit or not so please go to the link and take a look at the expert betting advice given within it so we can always be looking to maximise our efforts in the most profitable way possible.
From tommorrow i will endeavour on a daily basis to run a theoretical bank with the relevant % per bet on all the selections put up as this may give you a more complete guide with regards to our betting activities and look to start with a bank with inbuilt reassessment levels of £600 being the starting point it can only help providing the clearest picture i can give one and all of how we can make a profit long term.
The bet for today is in the 7.25 Sandown Ragheed at .4% of your bank.
Good luck to one and all!

Wednesday june 6th
Well yesterday saw our only bet of the day oblige in King of the moors at Ripon and get soundly beaten although at the forefront of many high street bookmakers forecasts ,so a good result there.
Lingfield was a tough one to call as Corals themselves viewed with only one race being priced up and 4 out of the 6 races saw the first 3 separated by 1length or less at some big prices up to 25/1 filling those places some only beaten by necks and 1/4 length so this i why it pays to see how the bookmakers relate their prices for the day to the relevant meetings and take the hints that they give us on a daily basis.
Down to business today feast or famine is sometimes the call here with laying we have to take what we are given and today has given us in my opinion a good 4 chances and they are as follows.
4.40 Nottingham Truly enchanting (8.2) betfair. Jaleela (4.8) betfair.
7.10 Kempton Cedar mountain (4.3) betafir.
7.50 Ripon Fabuleux millie (5.7) betfair.
Good luck today .

Welcome everyone to another poor days racing the lingfield Card just manages to sneak above the grade 6 level of racing the Greyhound racing is afforded more attention by Corals than the horse racing a warning in itself if they think they can't find an edge to make money be careful it's not good for the punter.
Today's bet:
3.00 King of the moors (5.1) betfair.
I must just remind everyone that some days there may be up to 3/4 bets a day but as with yesterday we may have the occasional day where no bets are put up for laying i myself have had to change my approach to my betting strategies to achieve my long term aims so i hope you bear with us and we can all look at long term profitability being our given goal.
Good luck in winner finding today.

Back to reality
Well to start with just like the Boomtown rats i can only concur i don't like mondays but they occur every week and just like the euphoria of the weekends high quality racing we're all back down to earth just like Frankie after his 2 Derby successes over the weekend and Evening racing looms large at Windsor and Thirsk and Soft gound or good to firm through the uk makes life very difficult for one and all.
Firstly i did ask everyone to keep records of all the lay bets i put up but i will do my very best to update you all on a Monday morning/afternoon with the previous weeks figures ie profit/loss and relative strik rate for the week.
Last week saw 17 bets with 2horses winning/losing for us which equates to a level stake profit of 7 points with the 2 losing advices being 3.95 a piece on betfair the strike rate is what i am looking to achieve on a regular basis of 89% if not slighlty higher but most importantly a profit was made.
My brother in law is looking to invest some money shortly lucky beggar just sold his house for a tidy profit and he's happy with a 6% profit on his money p.a well with a steady flow of winners i would hope to surpass that level on a weekly basis so long term these small gains do add up and with this in mind a little patience/discipline is needed to achieve this objective so for today there is No bet tommorrow is another day.
Good luck if your looking for winners or losers today but my choice is for no investment today.

Well done Frankie!
Well congratulations to dear old Frankie 15 years in the waiting but Authorized wow it sluiced up and the famous dismount topped off the achievement by horse/rider/trainer.
Yesterday 3 losers/ winners spoilt by Risk Accessor and dear old A P Mccoy and Jonjo O'neill but a very minimal profit attained and again that's our main criteria, just like Frankie, discipline a long term persistence and belief in your abilities will always win through the same as with our investment activities.
Down to business today with the Summer jumpers and a Feast of racing at Brighton.
3.00 Swings n strings (3.45) betfair.
4.40 Hereford Beautiful night (10 ) betfair.
Prime BBQ weather today if you didn't have one yesterday and enjoyed the televised racing enjoy the sun or even if it's just dry where you are enjoy the day!

Derby day Is this the day for Frankie?
Well it's here at last The Derby and can Frankie do it?
For me to take an odds on shot in this race is a big no no but let's hope that he does it but i personally think Aiden o'brien may have a big say in this one with Soldier of Fortune at an each way price of around the 16/1 mark?
Anyhow Epsom looks very competitive in all directions today so i will be going elsewhere around the other meetings of the day with the lay bets for today as follows.
2.05 Folkestone Phluke (9.4) betfair.
2.35 Folkestone Swan Queen (3.45) betfair.
4.00 Worcester Risk accessor (3.95) betfair.
8.30 Newcastle Mickleberry (8.8) betfair.
I do hope that you enjoy Derby Day as it is a great spectacle and with the sun coming out right on cue for the weekend we can all either venture out the house and go and quickly grab some bits for the BBQ or just sit and watch The Derby on the box.
In all the excitement i forgot to update the days racing yesterday where we had 4 losing /winning bets which puts us right back on track for the week.

Well it had to happen the first loser of the blog in Baileys outshine at Ayr but the blog is still showing a profit for the week so far which is the most important thing.
Although the spotlight today will be on Henry Cecil and Passage of time in the Oaks we have a far wider net to trawl with 4 opportunities today starting at Epsom and around the other meetings of the day.
2.45 Epsom Stotsfold (5.7) betfair.
3.00 Catterick Hilltime (7.6) betfair.
8.20 Goodwood Lisathedaddy (5.4) betfair.
8.30 Bath The cayterers (3.6) betfair.
I did start writng this blog with the expressed statement that we were looking for long term profit and running our investments to a sound money management programme ,with this in mind i have added a link to this blog that should be of great interest to you all which covers a full staking plan with inbuilt reassessment levels.
The plan some of you may have heard of but to others it may be of interest to visit and digest the information at your leisure the plan is the Maria staking plan and is a very solid basis for anyone novice or expert to build long term profits from sound money management.
If there are any questions that are not answered on this site the " expert betting advice" link please contact me and i will do my level best to assist.
Good luck to all today and it should be a good afternoons television with the Epsom coverage live on BBC and some quality Horse racing awaits.
