Well yesterday the Banker bet obliged and provided a 2/1 winner in Sequillo but the profit on the sequence was 6 points therefore increasing your return threefold.
The Lay bets of which there were 12 only had one losing selection and at 9/2 would have given you a profit through the Lays.
The Target bets two short priced winners at 13/8 and 13/8.
The Outsider bets popped one in with Abuelito John at 7/1 so profit was there to be made in a few directions yesterday.
Down to business.

General update and blog
Well as promised an update on the Experimental lays .
The facts and figures are as follows from the end of July to the end of August there were only two losing lay bets from 40 selections with the longest winning sequence of lay bets being 17.
The 2 winners were at 10/11 and 6/4.
The change in fortune and turn around in these bets has from the 28th of august to the 28th of September if backing these horses to win not LAY is 11 winning bets as backing bets at an average sp of around the 3/1 mark and the longest losing sequence if backing these bets standing at 4 losers. The highest priced winner was at 8/1 and the lowest priced winner was at Evens.
I will say again as the Racing calendar changes so do many strands of the information that we receive so i will again put out so as to be 100% straight with all involved that the Experimental lays need to be treated with caution with regards to them as lay bets.
A day of ups and downs yesterday some very close calls for the lay bets but if taking out the Experimental lays which as with Sod's law they lost their races typical ! their were 4 out of 4 winning Lay bets .
The Banker bet beaten a short head and some big priced winners of the races that we got involved in popping up at odds of 33/1 14/1 etc etc.
All in all though there were other options to make profit as the Irish bets came good at 7/4 and 5/2 respectively.
A busy day so down to business.

A good Saturday on the Lay front!!
Well first off i would like to draw your attention to the Previous blog on Friday 26th September re the Experimental lay bets. I have seen quite a dramatic turn around in the Fortunes of these bets in the last two weeks with these horses popping in as winners of their respective races at respectable prices to back and to align them to a staking plan like the Fibionacci plan would have seen good profits come from backing these selection rather than laying.
I will be updating my records today but let me put an honest and open caveat on these bets be very wary of laying these horses at present and i will give a more detailed account of the change in fortunes of theses bets in a future blog very shortly.
The previous couple of months they have been racking up successful Lay bet sequences of up to 15 losing on the bounce.
The Racing calendar does have a very nasty habit of doing things like this to the more mechanical of Systems and you have to react in a positive manner as soon as these things happen and i am only being honest in my assessment of what is happening right now.
Well yesterday the Bets section was not very successful but did give you a pointer towards Ravens pass a winner at 3/1 and Rainbow view at 4/7,if you read Pricewise today you'll see a little foot note in their re John Gosden horses coming good over the Autumn maybe this retrospectively applies to A O'brien horses going off the boil in the Autumn and being more Summer horses I'll have to have a peek through last years results on the Racing post website??
Well enough of the realistic/negative aspect of yesterday and give a little mention to the lay bets excluding the Experimental lay bets.
All told there were 23 advices given as Lay bets and with a non runner and two horses winning their respective races at 10/11 and 15/8 the rest all lost their races and were winning Lay bets.
A typically trappy old Sunday but their are bets so down to business.
Shakespeare Lays(to lay or not to lay)
2.15 Shindig
2.50 Bulberry hill
3.15 Diabolical

Remember the above and monitor these bets closely in the markets and maybe paper trade for now??

Fibionacci bets:

Blog part 3
Just a quick update in general for yesterday it was a pretty good day, 10 lays put up and only two losing at odds of 5/2 and 15/8 .
The outsider bets got Cashleen a 12/1 winner. The Target bets got an 11/4 winner in Alyarf.
Te best news were the Fibionacci bets they turned a 15/8 winner into a 9/2 winner with the staking sequence working it's magic on Penny's gift.
I personally follow the Irish bets to the Fibionacci staking plans and Aspectoflove a 2/1 winner yesterday had 21 points on it turning a 2/1 sp winner into a 9/1 winner and then in the next race another winner at 7/2 even allowing for the two selections put up to level stakes you'd have made a profit.
I was pretty pleased with yesterday hopefully you took some of the profit on offer to you through the advices.
Final blog for today a very busy day so down to business.
Shakespeare lays( to lay or not to lay)
4.05 Lilly blue/ Polly's mark
4.40 Bandanaman/ Howard
3.55 Ouzbeck /Commeration day
5.05 Frascati park/Ardglen
6.50 Wellington square
7.50 Nashmiah/Talking hands/Doctor crane
8.220 Bonus/ Asset/
8.50 Hattan
9.20 Royal vintage
The day's most questionable horses to back or to lay.
One a day lay:
4.15 Henrythenavigator
As regular readers will know this season when an A O'Brien horse is a one a day lay the percentages speak very much louder for the backing of the horse rather than laying so a decision to be made but the percentages speak in favour of a bet rather than a lay.
Outsiders:
4.15 Ravens pass
4.50 Illusion
Dutch lays:
3.35 Fyodor
3.40 Mastership /Zaahid
4.30 Breaking storm/North island
Experimental lays:
5.25 Four miracles
8.20 Ceremonial jade
Apologies for the late blog but time is generally against me on a Saturday but good luck with all your betting activities and hopefully you'll have a bit of good weather to fully enjoy the break .

Well the lays bit us quite hard yesterday after the recent successes it was bound to happen Sod's law rises up again but all the losers were under the 4/1 sp mark so not a disaster.

Not a great day yesterday
Well yesterday saw a day of limited success with the big hit for the Experimental lay bets with Golden feather winning at 13/2 this system is taking a turn into the backing market potentially as things do as we progress through the racing calendar things change and to adapt i would put a note of caution on these advices and be wary at present my records will be updated to show this as a potential positive not a negative as yet.
The bets only came good with a 5/2 winner for Daddy's gift and Hunterview dead heating with a lay bet in Kudu country.
There were winning advices though through the day and 11 advices lost their respective races so not all bad.

The lay section gave 4 winning selections so pretty good and only one losing bet in Prescription it was put up as a banker bet so a choice was there to be made to lay or not to lay.
Very much the same old thing today but the ground is very different to what we have been used to in the last week or two so beware a few springers or outsiders may well pop up.
Down to business.

Did you make 38 points profit yesterday?
Well yesterday saw a nice return for the Fibionacci bets when Tale of silver won at a tasty sp of 9/2 with 13 points on it's back.
The return on the sequence was 38.5 points profit.
From the start of these bets on the 17th of march this year the running profit is 1212.5 points profit not a bad return!!
The rest of the day saw a winning banker bet at 15/8 a 10/11 winner in Duncan and 7 winning lay bets and 3 losers at 9/4,9/4 and evens so minimal damage/profit there.

A rollercoaster yesterday
Well the outsider section gave a 12/1 winner in Meridian line at 12/1 and a couple of short priced winners came our way but all in all a day of ups and downs.
The experimental lays popped in two winners at 7/2 and 5/1 so not good the target lays a small priced winner At 6/4 and the Shakespeare lays the same finding a winner at 7/4.
The day was not a great success overall and a few chances were there but it was definitely a day for selectivity with selections.
The other positive of the day was the Handicap lay bet although a rare sighting they have a very good strike rate for finding horses to lose .

A mixed bag yesterday
Well a tough old time at present but success with the banker bet at 7/2 in Cool art was good and the one a day lay was successful and a short priced winner in Talk of saafend wasn't all bad.
The Shakespeare lays and dutch lays had a couple of short priced losers but the experimental lays took a hit with Zefferelli winning at 9/2.
It is very tough at present and digging a result or two out is especially hard with ground and the quality of racing very much putting us up against it.
Today is no different and with many middle of the road handicaps Nursery races ,conditions stakes races and many maidens to contend with beware your betting activities today.

Another tough day ahead
Well yesterday saw only a couple of results going our way and one winner in Nawamees at 2/1 and four successful lay bets. Not a total disaster but not earth shattering results.
It was and continues today to look very tough to plot a way through the heavy going and low quality fields ahead of us today but there are advices so down to business.

A little bit back in the pot
Well yesterday yet again those pesky Shakespeare lays found Eddie jock as a winner the usual statement applies(the days most questionable horses to back or to lay) a winner at 6/1.
More importantly though Yahrab and Go amwell were good priced winners at 18/1+ early prices for Yahrab and 11/2 available for Go amwell.
The Banker bets popped one in with Zambezi sun for a minimal profit on the sequence but yet again the price was bigger early on in the day.
A good lay of Bankable for the One a day lay bets so something somewhere should have given you a profit on the day.
After all that quality racing it had to end sometime so inevitably today with just the two meetings i have to say it looks very poor quality fare so beware your bets today.

Down to business.

A mixed bag yesterday
Well first off those pesky Shakespeare lays managed as they do on a regular basis to find two winners to rain on our parade at 9/4 and 13/2 which is why everyday the caveat is placed to lay or not to lay the day's most questionable horses.
The rest of the day saw 8 winning lay bets and a good return at 3/1 for the Irish bet Lucky spring at Tramore (early betfair price 5.8)
There were no other winners and the prices at present of some of the winners just goes to show how unpredictable things are at present.
A busy day with bets at Longchamp and the Curragh as well as the UK Racing.
Personally, i don't like it when the main featured race card in the centre pages is that of the Irish racing although high quality racing it tends to point to a very tough day's betting activities so beware of your bets today.
Down to business.
Shakespeare lays(to lay or not to lay)

A few pennies back in your pocket!!
Well yesterday saw all the lay bets successful and although some were close calls they did the business.
The One a day lay with Honolulu gave you a winner at 15/8 or a loser the caveat to lay or to back was put in due to the overwhelming strike rate of winners rather than losers, but with only Spacious winning for the Target bets not such a good day with the bets section.
A busy day today, and yet again some quality racing on the cards.
