Back into the twighlight zone

Well after Glorious goodwood we are now entering the twighlight zone between big meeting the Ebor on the 20th August will seem miles away while we head through the next couple of weeks with poor racing to entertain ourselsves but that's the nature of the beast.
yesterday the one a day lay continued it's good performance the experimental lays 1/1, the Target lays 3/4 and a non runner but the Shakespeare lays let us down with 3 short priced winners and a 9/4 shot with onlt one loser but the liabilities are smaller so not all bad.
The bets had very limited success yesterday and only Grit for the outsiders picked things up by winning at 8/1.
A two meeting day, quality thin on the ground, enough said.
Down to business.
